On a cold, bright February morning in 2023, the inaugural Alnwick Story Fest was born.
International best-selling & award-winning authors, poets, screenwriters, Hollywood directors and musicians began spellbinding their audiences, old and young alike, with stories full of grace, power and transformation.
This was a festival of dreams with something for everyone, ably managed by an enthusiastic team of volunteers, hosted in magical venues - Alnwick Playhouse, The Alnwick Gardens, Alnwick Castle, Barter Books and Baillifgate Museum, overflowing into the town's shops, bars and cafes in true troubadour style.
May this magic carpet continue to fly us to other worlds for there are many stories yet to be told.
Watch this space for 2024…
